First Visit

We are always excited to meet new patients. Our goal is to make your experience as comfortable as possible. Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to allow time to complete the medical/dental health questionnaire and the patient information form. These forms can also be found on our full web site, where you can print them out, complete them and bring them with you to your appointment. Please remember to bring a copy of your dental insurance card. Additionally, if your general dentist has given you a written referral or x-rays, bring those to your first appointment as well. Your primary visit will consist of a comprehensive examination with any necessary diagnostic x-rays, so that your situation can be thoroughly evaluated and the ideal treatment plan can be determined. Any questions you have will be addressed at this time. The most common procedures we offer include non-surgical root canal therapy, endodontic retreatment, treating cracked teeth, and apicoectomies.

Please bring a list of all your current medications, and take all routine medications prior to your visit. Do not take pain medication for at least 4 to 6 hours before coming into the office. Treatment is preformed using local anesthesia. To discuss other anesthetic options, speak with your doctor. If you have a medical condition that may be a concern, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, rheumatic fever, artificial joints, or heart valves, please notify us before your first visit. If you are on antibiotics for any existing conditions, let us know ahead of time. Please note that all patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the first appointment.

Over the years, endodontics has had much advancement, allowing for a very smooth patient experience. We will do everything we can to make your visit as pleasant as possible. We realize that every patient and case is unique. We are committed to providing you with high quality endodontic care based on your individual needs. Above all else, we want to ensure your visit to our office is an amiable experience. We look forward to meeting you!
